Undergraduate work - Pratt Institute's Rome Program The program was to build up the historic island at the center of Medieval Rome, Isola Tiberina. Using traditional Roman urban and architectural models, I strove to create a series of public spaces that open up to each other through tight passages. I mimicked the existing bridge entry from the north side at the south side. By varying the treatments of the new space's southern wall, each space will have differing light which give the three new public spaces their unique character.
